Just about everyone
has, or has had, a significant
amount of stress in their lives.
Sometimes the stress is short-lived
and the situation resolves itself
and we go on about our lives. For
many people however, stress becomes
a constant force. If left unchecked,
stress can be the cause of
‘dis-ease’ (dis-comfort) in the body
and eventually may lead to illness.
For many, the body and mind have
been in such a heightened state of
tension for so long, that relaxation
becomes very difficult.
Letting go of pain and tension,
and retaking authority over our own
lives, can lead each of us to a much
deeper and richer appreciation of
life. The journey into a more
peaceful life can be one of the most
rewarding experiences you will ever
have. LETTING GO OF THE STRESS IN
YOUR LIFE!

Is ‘stress management’ a tool you
should be using?
“Thank you for helping me to
understand the pain that I have kept
hidden all these years. I don’t know
how I have survived. You helped me
to understand my problems, more than
that, with your help I let it go of
them.” “Who would have guessed that
I could feel so whole and complete.
The garbage that I have been holding
onto only served to keep me hooked
to the pain. Thank you for showing
me the way…” “It has been so long
since I have felt really relaxed and
my arthritis pain is so much
better.” “The more I practiced
meditation, the easier it became for
me to quiet my mind. It’s
become a regular part of my day. For
a long time I did not think I could
change, or that I deserved things to
be better.”
Reviewing Your Life, Making Changes
and Reducing Stress
What price are you paying for the
stress in your life? Has your doctor
put you on high blood pressure
medication? What about the
relationships in your life? Are you
having an affair? Do your children
seem like strangers under your own
roof? Do you sleep too much or not
enough? Have you noticed that your
joints seem to ache and that you’re
starting to feel much older than
your years?
If you can answer “yes” to any of
these questions than I challenge you
to start taking back your power and
taking control of your life! Start
by identifying the most challenging
stress issues in your life. The
choice is yours as to how much power
you are willing to give these
issues.
Choosing not to deal with them is
also a choice! Start journaling
about the issues you are dealing
with. Write about them in a stress
journal. Find someone that you can
talk to about the problem. Give
yourself permission to change.
Many of our issues start in
childhood. Start reviewing your life
and the things that have occurred.
Hypnosis can be a very powerful tool
for reconnecting with some of those
issues and to start letting them go.
Learn to find the positive in
everything that is happening around
you.
What are you doing in your leisure
time? Do you have leisure time? Find
things that help you to relax both
body and mind. Meditation can be as
simple as listening to relaxing
music with a sign on your bedroom
door that reminds family members
that you are not to be disturbed for
the next 20 minutes.
Get a relaxing massage. Some of us
have to re-learn what it feels like
to relax. Read something other than
technical manuals or work related
material. Fly a kite, spend time
with your kids at the park, watch
old movies with friends. Break out
of your current routine. Find ways
to be good to yourself. You deserve
it! Take control of your life...
Learn to relax... Let go of the
pain!
